BCG is made up of team members with extensive experience in structural insurance claims for both residential and commercial properties. We’re highly proficient in Xactimate, the industry-standard estimating software used by most insurance companies. This allows Brooks Construction Group, LLC to provide precise, fully documented estimates that help streamline and expedite the claims process.

Chief Financial Officer
Background: Stephanie joined Brooks Construction in 2016 after a 28-year career with Shell Oil Company, where she held various Finance and IT Systems roles. She brings extensive experience in financial management and provides accounting and finance support to the Project Management Team. Stephanie enjoys the dynamic nature of the residential construction industry and values seeing how customer preferences, design trends, and project costs evolve over time.
Interests: Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her granddaughter, cheering on the Houston Texans, participating in book clubs, traveling, and relaxing at the beach.

Anthony Lopez
Senior Project Manager
Background: Anthony Lopez has 17 years of experience in residential construction, specializing in luxury custom homes. He began his career in high-volume neighborhood developments, where he developed expertise in scheduling, coordination, and project management before transitioning to custom luxury estates. His experience covers the entire construction process, from land development and site preparation to delivering high-performance, architecturally detailed homes. Anthony is skilled in construction management, budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and ensuring projects are completed with exceptional quality and precision.
Interests: Outside of work, Anthony enjoys staying active through cycling and fishing. He is a passionate Formula 1 enthusiast and a dedicated basketball fan, appreciating both the strategy and competition of sports.
Darren James
Senior Project Manager
Background: Darren James is a seasoned construction professional with over 30 years of experience specializing in project and construction management for residential and commercial remodeling, as well as disaster restoration. He has extensive expertise in estimating, scope development, insurance claim coordination, and collaborating with clients to deliver successful project outcomes. Darren is highly skilled in Xactimate and has led multimillion-dollar construction divisions, building and managing high-performing teams throughout his career.
Interests: Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, woodworking, and tackling home building projects for fun. Having entered the construction industry at age 17, construction has been his lifelong career and passion.
Angel Alcantara
Senior Project Manager
Background: Angel Alcantara brings a diverse background in the construction industry with expertise in project management, blueprint readiness, residential remodeling.
His strengths include coordinating project teams, scheduling, fostering strong client and trade relationships, and maintaining effective communication throughout every phase of construction. Prior to transitioning into construction management, Angel gained hands-on experience in carpentry and home maintenance, providing him with a practical understanding of the building process.
Interests: Outside of work, Angel enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, reading, and volunteering in his community.
Thomas Smith
Project Manager
Thomas is a construction professional specializing in custom homes, renovations, and insurance restoration projects. He has extensive experience managing high-end residential remodels, and fire and water damage restoration. His expertise includes project planning, quality control, change order management, and ensuring compliance with building codes.
Before entering the construction industry, Thomas worked as an exercise physiologist in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, bringing a strong foundation in client care, problem-solving, and teamwork to his construction career.

Mauricio Navas
Senior Estimator
Background: Mauricio is a Senior Estimator with more than 25 years of experience in the construction and insurance claims industries. He specializes in cost estimating, project evaluation, and damage assessment, with extensive expertise in residential and commercial construction, remodeling, disaster restoration, and large-loss insurance claims. Mauricio is highly proficient in Xactimate and is recognized for delivering accurate estimates, streamlining project workflows, and supporting successful project outcomes.
Interests: Outside of work, Mauricio enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, and mountain biking.
Albert Najarro
Materials Acquisition Manager
Background: Albert joined Brooks Construction in September 2022 after working in customer service and project coordination with another construction company. With 10 years of experience in the construction industry, he enjoys the fast-paced environment, managing schedules and tasks, and continuously expanding his knowledge and skill set. Outside of work.
Interests: Albert enjoys spending time with family, traveling, hiking, hosting cookouts, and watching soccer and football.
Wyatt Campbell
2026 Summer Intern
Background: Wyatt is a sophomore at Texas A&M University majoring in Construction Science. Although he is early in his construction career, he has already gained hands-on experience working on home remodeling projects and a high-end custom home at BCG. Before entering construction, he spent years working as a mechanic and handyman, developing strong problem-solving and repair skills. Wyatt is known for his strong work ethic, reliability, efficiency, and willingness to help wherever needed.
Interests: Outside of work, Wyatt enjoys spending time with his family, fishing whenever he gets the opportunity, and running.
